Seek the Path (2019)

Seek the Path | Dir. Ian Tyley

Grant Molony, father to Frankie, is an artist with an emotional connection to his craft. Grant is a father, a painter, a photographer and a humble person. Like many other artists Grant is his own worst critic when it comes to his passion and attempts to seek the right symmetry between taking something he loves and turning it into a job.
His deep bond with ocean has educated him, while taking him on many adventures where he feels most comfortable. It is his source of inspiration.

This is a journey of finally coming to terms with what he has looked to pursue and believing in himself to follow the path in that direction.

This is a poetic/expository documentary that shadows the life of Grant Molony.
Focusing on experiences, imaginary and showing the audience the world through how Grant sees himself, his struggles and his relationships with both family and his passion for his art.
